Browser Enabled LOAF

After reading about how We need LOAF! it struk me that all of these implementaions are server side, and we need at least some sort of a client side acces to LOAF. So I proudly present Browser Enabled LOAF. It should be fully ECMA262 compliant so it should run on all of the latest versions of IE, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera, and OmniBrowser (for you Mac/NeXT folk out there).


P.S. Does anyone know of a good patent attorney? I believe that my melding of LOAF with a Web Browser is Patentable. I just hope there's no prior art. Don't Worry though, I'm just patenting it so Microsoft doesn't patent it first. The only companies I'll extort money from are those who abuse LOAF or don't adhere to established LOAF standards.

This will be the real LOAF killer-app!

After all these server-side "I know more programming languages than you" implementations, finally a user-oriented solution is available.

However, as you've published it in the open now, with a public license, you won't be able to patent it anymore.

But you'll need an attorney anyway, as you'll certainly be sued by SCO, since the body of your code is a straightforward copy of 53762 files in their unix distribution.

So how are you planning to interrogate the central LOAF db with client side? You're not planning on making a query for EVERY LOAF interrogation? That's going to kill any sort of speed saving...

Accessing the db directly is not a good idea. You need to invoke a LOAF web service from the client (LOAF and SOAP are a natural fit).

This not only has the advantage of exponentially increasing the number of acronyms that can be created around LOAF, it also means a lot of blogging and referring can be done to standardize LOAF service descriptors.

Which means that very soon, we can finally beat the Meat Loaf fan club for that top ranking when googling for LOAF!
